A 30-day health experiment · Days 1 to 3 free

Find out what thirty days without alcohol does for you.

A private, practical program for anyone who is sober curious, or who wants a clearer handle on how much they drink. Take a three-minute fit check, get a route that fits your health, and build a month you can actually finish.

  • Private, stays on your device
  • No account
  • 14-day money-back guarantee

Sorted first, then started.

1

A three-minute fit check

Five safety questions first, then the standard three-question alcohol screen. You get a route: Play, Skills, a pause for a clinician, or free Medical Prep. Stopping suddenly is unsafe for some people, so sorting comes before starting.

2

Three free days that build a foundation

A reason that holds at 9 p.m., a dated plan, a before snapshot, a cleared house, risk cards, an evening ritual and a tool for urges. You keep all of it, even if you never buy.

3

A month, and a binder you keep

Days 4 to 30 cover sleep, cravings, scripts, money, people, celebration and the day-31 decision. What you write is printable, restorable, and reusable each time you run the month again.

What three free days leave you with.

These are working tools, not essays. Each day ends with something you keep, and each one is used again by the rest of the month.

Day 1

Decide the experiment

  • Your third why, saved as a lock-screen image
  • A start date, with day 30 and score checks in your calendar
  • A before snapshot of seven scores
  • A message ready to send to one person

Day 2

Clear the runway

  • A home audit board with friction scores
  • A housemate script written from your answers
  • Three dated risk cards in your calendar
  • A shopping list for the gap

Day 3

Build the evening

  • A cue, routine and reward, with a daily alarm
  • The Wave, a one-screen urge timer
  • A 72-hour symptom check on one tap
  • Your foundation on one printable page

What a month can do. What it cannot.

Ethanol is toxic to cells, the International Agency for Research on Cancer lists alcohol as a Group 1 carcinogen, and the WHO says no level is safe for health. That is the chemistry behind the name. The month is about what you find out.

Better studies of a month off show real changes in group averages. They also show limits: a month does not undo years, does not treat liver disease, and is not a detox.

Read the science, with sources

About 6%

lower blood pressure after a month off, on average, in healthy moderate to heavy drinkers (BMJ Open, 2018)

About a quarter

lower insulin resistance, median change, in the same study

16 studies

in a 2025 Dry January review covering more than 150,000 people, mostly in the UK

A minority

who could not finish drank more afterward, which is why day 31 is planned in advance

Safety is part of the product, not a footer.

Nobody is dropped into a challenge. The fit check sorts you, and a symptom check runs through the first 72 hours. Getting a clinician involved is a successful start.

Play track

Curious and a little dry. Four-minute lessons, two-minute experiments, a mocktail lab. Slips become field notes.

Skills track

The same calendar with more practice: if-thens for every risky hour, the Wave, a slip plan in week one, and a symptom check for the first 72 hours.

A clinician first

For people with health flags or very heavy near-daily drinking. Preparation lessons are open, and Day 1 waits until you have talked to someone.

Medical Prep, free

If stopping could be unsafe. A one-page brief for a doctor, what withdrawal can look like, and how to plan once a supported stop is arranged.

Is it safe for me to stop?

Days 4 to 30, and lifetime reruns

The full program, $49 once.

Free days build the foundation. The paid month is the repetition that makes it stick, plus every tool and a binder you can run again for life.

  • 27 more days: sleep, food, the first weekend, triggers, urges, scripts, stress, money, people, celebration, the slip plan, the next 90 days, day 31
  • The toolbox: Friday boss, script gym, mocktail lab, savings jar, repair, HALT, permission deck
  • Read-aloud for every lesson, using your device's voice
  • A printable binder with a Day 30 chart against your Day 1
  • Repair, deeper and maintenance passes, for life

Your answers stay with you.

The fit check, your scores and everything you write are saved on your own device. There is no account, and no database of drinking histories. Prefer email? Get the link to Days 1 to 3, and nothing else.

Questions, answered.

Is this treatment, therapy or a detox?
No. It is an educational health program for adults. It does not diagnose, treat or detox anyone, and it never gives doses or tapers. If you drink heavily every day or have had shakes, sweats, confusion or a seizure when you stopped, the fit check routes you to a clinician first, and that part is free.
What if I drink every day?
Start with the fit check. Stopping suddenly can be dangerous for some people. If your answers point that way, you get Medical Prep instead of a challenge: a one-page brief for a doctor, what withdrawal can look like, how to tell someone, and how to plan the first evening once a supported stop is arranged. There is no streak and no counter, on purpose.
Are the first three days really worth doing without paying?
That is the design. By the end of Day 3 you have a reason saved as an image, a dated plan, a before snapshot, a cleared house, risk cards in your calendar, an evening ritual with an alarm, and a way to watch an urge. You keep all of it whether or not you buy.
Do you see my answers?
No. The fit check and everything you write are stored on your own device. We never see them and cannot recover them, so the binder page lets you download a copy and restore it later.
What if I slip?
A slip is a drink during the experiment, and it is data. You log it plainly, answer three questions, and the month continues. Nothing is deleted and there is no broken-chain screen. Hiding it is the part that hurts, so the program makes honesty easy.
Do I need an account?
No. If you buy, we email a permanent access link that works on any device. Your binder stays on the device where you write it.
What is the refund policy?
If it is not for you, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. You will not be asked to justify it.

Tonight is a good night to begin.

Three minutes to find out where you start. No account, no pressure.
