Privacy
Your answers stay with you.
Drinking history is sensitive, so the program is built to keep it off our servers. This page says exactly what that means.
Alcohol Is Poison is a service of NeoNue, operated by Aspir Technologies LLC DBA NeoNue.
What stays on your device
The fit check, your scores, your reason, the runway board, your cards, your notes, the Wave ratings and your binder are saved in your browser's local storage on the device you are using. We never receive them and we cannot read or recover them. If you clear your browser data or lose the device, they are gone, which is why the binder page lets you download a copy and restore it later. You can delete everything from that page at any time.
What we do receive
- Your email, if you ask us to send Days 1 to 3 or if you buy. We use it to send what you asked for and to look up your purchase. We do not sell it or share it.
- Purchase details from Stripe, such as your name, email and the amount. Stripe handles your card. We never see card numbers.
- Anonymous counts. We count things like how many fit checks were completed and how many people were routed to Medical Prep, as daily totals. Each count is a name and a coarse label, such as the route. We do not store a cookie, an IP address or any of your answers with these counts.
Cookies
If you buy, we set one signed cookie so your browser can open the paid days. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics scripts.
We email you only about what you asked for. Every email can be answered with a request to stop, and we will stop. To delete your email from our records, write to hello@alcoholispoison.com.
Adults only
The program is for people 18 and older, and the fit check ends if you say you are younger.
Health information
Because your answers stay on your device, we hold no health records about you. If you choose to print your binder or the clinician brief and hand it to someone, that copy is yours to share.
