Cookies
Cookies and storage.
What this site can store on your device, why, and how to change your choice. Last updated October 9, 2026.
Alcohol Is Poison is a service of NeoNue, operated by Aspir Technologies LLC DBA NeoNue.
AlcoholIsPoison does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it loads no scripts, fonts or media from other companies. This page lists everything it can store on your device.
The site does count a few anonymous events, such as how many fit checks were completed. Only the event name is sent, with no cookie, no IP address and none of your answers, and nothing is kept on your device for this.
What is stored
| Name | Purpose | Type | Category | Duration | Party |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
site_access | Unlocks what you bought or claimed on this device. It is only set after you buy, use an access code, or open your recovery link. It is signed and holds no card or payment details. | Cookie | Strictly necessary | 5 years | First party |
aip.binder.v2 | Holds your fit check answers, notes, cards and binder entries. They stay in your browser and are never sent to us. It is created when you start using the program and you can export or delete it from the binder. | Local storage | Strictly necessary | Until you delete it or clear site data | First party |
aip.tracker.v1 | Holds your alcohol-free day counter once you start it. It stays in your browser. | Local storage | Strictly necessary | Until you reset it or clear site data | First party |
Your choices
Nothing here needs your permission, so there is no cookie banner. If that ever changes, you will be asked first and this page will say what changed.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time. The site still works to read. You would not be able to open what you bought on that device until you allow this cookie again or use your access link.
If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, the site honors it. There is nothing to opt out of, because the site does not sell or share your information for advertising.
Payments
When you pay, you go to Stripe's own checkout page. Stripe sets its own cookies there under its own policy.
